Brunei is a tiny nation located on the north coast of the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. It is well known for its beaches and rainforest, much of it protected within reserves.
The total population is 445,000 inhabitants out of which 52,000 are Christians.
Christians in Brunei face a very high persecution level. It is illegal to leave Islam and convert to another religion. Those who do so, encounter significant persecution even from their families. They are forced to divorce and also lose custody of their children.
Let us pray that God will strengthen the Christians and the church in Brunei.
