Chairperson’s Message:

Greetings to all our well-wishers in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I hope all our well-wishers are doing well and are under the shelter of Jesus’ blessings. By the grace of God, everyone at Michael Job Centre is doing really well, and they have transformed their lives to the needs and requirements of the post-covid world. We are happy to inform you that all three education institutions have opened, and the students have resumed their studies offline mode.

Despite the long gap, the students are coping with their old routine and enjoying it after staying in isolation for a long time. The girls have already started winning accolades, and they are continuing to make us proud. The school football team has won yet another championship, and the girls have gotten state rank in the Indian Talent Olympiad Exam. Their continuous good results led the school to win the Golden School Award. All of these achievements are spreading the word that girl children are no less, and despite their unfortunate background, they have pledged that they will make their future brighter.

To support and advance the skills of these bright young minds, we have started several co-curricular activities to assist them in stropping their adeptness in every field they are exposed to. We have introduced Life-Skill training to prepare the students for the real world, and these skills will concoct a prosperous future for the girls. We have also commenced Karate and Silambam training for the students on a regular basis which will help the students polish their dexterity and their agility. It will also make their minds sharper, and it might become a hobby which would help them vent their stress.

After the reopening of schools and colleges, the centre is bustling, and there is an atmosphere of joy and delight. It is beautiful to see these young souls hustling and persevering to attain a promising future despite being challenged by atrocities habitually. Seeing the spark in their eyes while interacting with their peers and sharing their knowledge is very wholesome.

All of these facilities are available to the students because of the constant support of our well-wishers; without your support, nothing would have been possible. The girls are able to maximise their skills because of the assistance provided by all our supporters. I can never thank you enough for it, and I am incredibly grateful to all our patrons who have kept the vision of Dr. P.P. Job alive.

All the girls and the entire MJC family are continuously praying for you and your families. God will always keep you under his shadow and will protect you from all the harms and dangers of this unpredictable world. We pray that you are filled with faith, inspired with hope and led by love. God will guide you in all your endeavours and will keep you safe. May God bless you and your family!

MJC School secures State ranking in Indian Talent Olympiad Exam

Indian Talent Olympiad Exam is one of the best ways for students to hone their analytical skills and acquire knowledge beyond their books. It helps the students expand their horizons and enhances their problem-solving abilities, which will help them master other competitive exams and life in general.

MJC School has produced several Olympiad rank-holders over the past couple of years, and the tradition continues this year. Jaishree from Class III has bagged 7th rank in the state of Tamil Nadu, and she has received a scholarship of Rs. 700/-. She has been securing state ranks for the past few years and has once again proved her brilliance. Udaya Shree from Class IV has secured 23rd rank in the field of drawing in the Indian Olympiad Exam. She has displayed her talent and creativity skills and has made the school proud.

The school is proud of all their achievements and students who have participated in the Talent Exam. Due to their contributions, the MJC School has won the Golden Award at the national level and was presented to the school by the Indian Talent Olympiad Group.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra-Curricular activities are just as important as academics, and it needs to be integrated in the curriculum of the students to avoid monotony and boredom. In order to cater to the physical and social requirements of the students, MJC school has started a number of extra-curricular activities to enhance the social skills and dexterity of the students.

From this academic year, the school has started Life Skills Training for the students as a part of their curriculum as it will help them learn the required social and soft skills to excel in their lives. The Life Skill Training is being taken by Ms. Ashwati Ashokan, a certified soft skills trainer, and she has been using various techniques to teach life skills to students across the age spectrum.

The school has also begun regular Silambam and Karate classes which will help the students learn the importance of martial arts performed at home and abroad. These classes not only keep the students fit and active but also allows them to keep their minds sharp and alert. Hence, the school believed that it was necessary to add these martial arts into the curriculum.

School Students Secured 100% result

MJC School has achieved 100% results in Class X, XI, and XII in the year 2021-22. The students have passed with flying colours, and despite having the disadvantage of studying during the pandemic, the students have proved their mettle. The achievement was possible because of the perseverance of the students and the hard work of the teachers. However, the prayers of our well-wishers and friends have also played a significant role in their success. Congratulations to the girls, and thank you for your prayer and best wishes.
