YEMEN – A country that needs prayer missionaries

We want to start our prayer request with a couple of questions:

  • Are we really interested in persecuted Christians?
  • Do we really care about them?
  • Can we make time to pray for them?

Regardless of the country in which the persecution is, the life of Christians is extremely difficult. There is no country in the entire Middle East where Christians do not suffer because of their faith in God.

Although the Yemeni Constitution provides the religious freedom, the reality is quite different. According to Saria law, Muslims are strictly forbidden to convert to Christianity. The government has the power to misinterpret the truth by claiming that there still is religious freedom.

How can there be religious freedom when the persecution starts in the family and then continues in the government? It is amazing to learn about the inability of a Christian in Yemen to own a Bible.

Yemen is a country with a population of 24 million people, and the number of hidden Christians is only a few thousand.

The government needs God’s intervention.

The whole country needs to return to God.

Christians there need protection and missionaries there need the prayer missionaries to support them in prayer.

Do you want to be one of them?

Together we can make a huge difference.

Together with the Genesis Mission we will pray to God.

He is the one who writes the history as He pleases.

Thank you!
