Bangladesh is a South Asian country located to the east of India on the Bay of Bengal. Its total population is 169,775,000 inhabitants out of which 903,000 are Christians.
It is one of the poorest countries in the world and churches are trying their best to help the people, but they are very careful when doing that because they don’t want people to convert to Christianity solely for economic benefit.
Like in many other persecuted countries, converts from a Buddhist, Muslim, etc. background suffer many sever restrictions, discrimination and even attacks.
Let us come before our Father in Heaven and stand in prayer for all of our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh who suffer in a way or another because they chose to put their faith in Christ.
